My weekend trip back home to Norway was done in a very short amount of time. I actually only spend about 40 hours back home until I had to travel back to Odense again. It was my goal to get as much out of that time as humanly possible.Read More
During our trip to Australia, we had brought an Anker power bank from Powerbanken.dk in order to always be ready in case we ran out of battery. We have known the guys at Powerbanken for many years now, so we hoped our little trip could help promote what these great guys have created from scratch.
We filmed every day, and when you film that much, the battery has the tendency run out early in the day. It wasn't always easy to get a place to charge them while moving so much, and that is why I would like to thank Powerbanken for helping us.
It saved us so many times, charging our phones or our drone, and while we were hiking or driving my GoPro's spare batteries were constantly charging at all times. Truly one of the essential things we brought on our trip.
If you are traveling or have the tendency to run out of battery, this is the gadget for you. And with our promo code, you'll get 15% discount on whatever you buy at powerbanken.dk.
Here's a link to the one we used: Anker Powercore 20100 mAh
It seems that getting over jetlag isn't my thing, at least that is what it looks like after my total failure trying to run yesterday. I have some theories about why I am so affected right now.
I remember when I went to study in Canada seven years ago, that I was sick for two weeks at arrival, and had a huge problem getting over my jetlag. This is happening again, and I think there are several reasons why.
My sleeping rhythm has improved greatly the last year, and developed from a very irregular and sporadic schedule to a more structured one where I get a lot more sleep. I think one of the setback of this regular sleep cycle is that can be harder to disrupt, leading to a more sever reaction.
It's grass pollen season. Although I usually can survive the season without too many problems, the high season has an abnormally high concentration per cubic meter now and my normal antihistamines aren't doing their job.
I worked out monday morning. This was probably a big mistake, as it may have resulted in me being sick the day after. The training itself wasn't that hard, but the ramifications were. I still can't walk properly because of extreme soreness.
Hopefully I can learn from this experience, and handle jetlag better in the future, because I don't intend to stop traveling just because of it.
I have had two weeks of vacation now, and those weeks have not been the most productive when it comes to exercise.Read More

The last couple of months have gone by so fast, and it feels weird thinking about the fact that it's less than ten days until we leave for the US. It's so close that we have started to make lists concerning what to remember before we take off.Read More
One of the main goals for easter was to finish all the bookings for the San Francisco trip. We managed to do so, but because of so many things happening during the easter break we ended up doing it the last night before we started working again.Read More
