Ever since I removed a tooth on Thursday I have been trying to figure out how to get back to my training regime. I am deeply bored with just sitting in a couch, but I'm too dependent on the pain medication to really do anything physical at all.
I am a very optimistic person, which leads to many ups and downs. Every time the pain goes away, just a tiny bit, I am so ready to jump on the bike for a couple of hours. But less than an hour later I usually hear myself whine about the pain again. I just want it all to be over with.
Today is my last day in Denmark before i travel back to Norway for Christmas. I'm sure I'll be able to work out back home, but it seems like a personal letdown that I haven't done anything this weekend.
Christmas time is usually a time for training for me and my brothers. This year won't be different, but I will be going at it alone, as my brothers are celebrating Christmas elsewhere. We do have a club on Strava though, and I hope that they will compete for the weekly winner during the holidays.
