I didn't really have a plan to run yesterday, but after having that awful run on Saturday I just felt like I had to redeem myself. My plan wasn't to run fast, but to run longer and slower, of reasons explained in yesterday's blog post.
After about 5k I decided to get off my usual path and head out towards Bellinge on a road next to the Odense river. The goal of my trip was to find new places to run further away from the apartment. Running closer to the apartment is a mental exercise that I handle very poorly. Running further out is thus a much better solution for me, as I never have the chance to give up.
It was raining, so I decided not to bring my camera, which turned out to be a bit of a bummer. The places I ran were magnificent, and I had the opportunity to so many great shots for Instagram. In the end I had to settle for a selfie from a platform looking over a swamp, where you can watch for toads and frogs.
I am definitely running this route again next week, and I will definitely bring my camera as well.
