Every thought it hard to get off the comfy couch for a workout? I think we all have had those days where your legs seems glued to whatever furniture you are sitting on, and the thought of getting out is just too overwhelming and daunting to even consider.
My own experiences with this type of hesitation is far too great. I also have big troubles getting out, both in the morning and at night when my girlfriend is back home. The sacrifices aren't always worth it. But then why do I always feel glad when I'm done working out? It's like a drug that dissipates once you think of your next workout.
The solution I have come up with is to start scheduling workouts. For me it's enough to plan what activity I'm doing as I have enough time as unemployed, but as you have less and less time there is no other way than to plan every single session and make room in your calendar. I believe that the reason why this works for me has everything to do with my mindset. The workout is on the schedule, you know it's happening, and your mind gets a lot of time to process and accept how the day is supposed to unfold. Sometimes a spur of the moment thing works, but for long lasting and consistent training regimes I have found that this is the way that works for me.
