The last week has been a running week. I've had four runs, compared to my usual two, and my legs are very tired from it. Totally it wasn't more than 42k of running this week, but the amount of fast runs really wore my legs out, especially my run on Saturday exhausted me.
I went all in and ran my test route in an attempt to get a personal best, and I'm finally getting closer to pushing myself as much as I want to. I got a new personal best, despite having to run slalom between all the people who were out enjoying the first spring day in Odense. The entire thing was done on impulse, and was definitely not thought through fully, especially considering I had a planned run on Saturday with a buddy.
Sunday's run was very much cut short by my heavy legs. I could've run longer, but my fear of injuring myself, from running too much, put an end to the run at around 12k. I'm still happy I went out there, and I'm looking forward to an easier day today.
