Tomorrow is race day, and I can easily say that the weeks before this has not been optimal to maximize my performance on my first 10k race in 5-6 years. My plan is still to completely shatter my previous record of 42:18 by starting strong and finishing even stronger.
Today's early morning run was very slow and easy, and done in my brand new Mizuno Riders. They felt awesome and light compared to the shoes I'm running tomorrows race in, which is quite a bummer. It's time to expand my shoe selection even more!
I'm ready to go all in tomorrow morning at 11, it's race time!!!
