For over 4 months I've had my thigh injury under control. Running long distance has been a little bit painful, but it hasn't really troubled me. But it only took one real asphalt race until I again had troubles.
I hope this is only a small setback, and that the ramifications of the race Saturday will cease to exist. This morning's run though was a very uncomfortable experience, showing me that the pain hasn't subdued yet.
Keeping it under surveillance the next weeks will be a top priority, as well as fighting back with some increased strength trainings in the mornings. Strength is the only way I know how, when it comes to fighting injuries, cause relaxing isn't an option.
