With the semi-fast 8k run yesterday I am now sure that I didn't rest enough after the half marathon this weekend. My ankle, that felt perfectly good after the half marathon, has the last day been very painful.
Luckily I'm training for a triathlon, making it easy to find something else to do, as long as it takes for the ankle to get better. The next weeks I'll try to focus more on swimming and cycling, and using the days off to for strength trainings.
First step is to start using my elastic band a lot more. Hopefully this is just a simple case of overuse that will disappear as quickly as it came, but I'll still do everything I can to prevent it from getting worse. I have the exercises, now I just need to manage my time better so that I get through the same routine every day.
