I have had two weeks of vacation now, and those weeks have not been the most productive when it comes to exercise.
The last days in Napa Valley were hot, but even so, I was still bursting over with energy from not working out. That made me plan ahead how to best approach working out when arriving in Denmark again.
That plan didn't work out at all! Sunday was completely awful, and we didn't leave our apartment other than to get food for the rest of the week. Both of us where extremely tired, but we tried to change our sleeping rhythms back to our normal European standard.
Monday I went for a nice gym session in the morning, but during the day I saw that this was a very bad idea. My throat hurt, and I started to get sick.
Tuesday was a sick day, where nothing special happened, and Wednesday I finally got back to work.
"Now I'm finally back" was my thought yesterday. I'd had two nights of 8+ hours of interrupted sleep and thought I would go out this morning (Thursday) to check the status quo with a run around my test track. And the status, horrible!!
More on this tomorrow, as I have to get ready for another day at work. Got to fuel up!
