My biggest race of the season became a huge success. The Lillebælt Half Marathon was finished with the new PR 1:26:59 on a rather hot day. On top of that I also managed to collect some money for the Children’s Heart Foundation. Great succes!
The 17th of May is a special day for every Norwegian. It’s our independence day and we celebrate it by eating a bunch of hot dogs, ice creams and waiving our beautiful flag while shouting “hurra!” A great day!
I had to work that day, so I ended up celebrating it by running a short lap around Odense, having so many people smile and congratulate me during my run.
At the end of May I let my followers decide my training schedule for a week. This was such cool experience that I really enjoyed doing. I might want to do this again sometime.
This picture was the most liked picture from that week. What shoe was I to run in that day? You guys decided that I would run in the Topo Fli-Lyte 2 (the orange one).
Late May was also the time when I got back to swimming again. Gangsta swimmer was back in style with the GoPro and some fast 100m intervals.
I really enjoy my time at the pool, and look forward to getting better and better as I train more.
Henrik was the well deserved winner of my competition with Spar Nord in June. He won 10.000kr because of his 20 year long contribution to Odense triathlon. A great winner that really deserved a pat on the back.
I’ve never been good at this exercise and I must admit that I never do it unless I’m in front of a camera. This little deck next to the lake was built in the last year and it’s a great place to stop during runs to get a bit of quiet time away from the city.
The shots of Q2 2018 was very different from the scenic shots from Q1, still they are very important in telling the story about what have happened this last year. In Q3 I head to Norway, so watch out for some drop dead gorgeous scenery!
