This summer’s greatest experience was the climb Amalie, Karl Otto and I did in Loen. Some years ago a via ferrata route was made up the mountain and it was a our first time trying it out. Karl Otto and I have tried free climbing before, but Amalie who hadn’t done anything similar before really completed it in style. It was an amazing experience that we got to share together.
Swimming has become important to us this year and we try to swim whenever we have family visiting, especially when this guys stays overnight. He loves the water!
I really miss the late night summer runs where the sun went down slowly into the ground. This picture was taken one of those runs when I could just run and run in the warm weather.
This is from the cold, but beautiful hike to the mountain formation “Mannen” that we did together with my brother’s family. On this mountain ridge there is a great view of the valley below. A valley that might be covered in a enormous rock slide soon, as “Mannen” will fall down at some point.
Our trip to Norway this summer was very eventful. We were able to visit family and go on many beautiful hikes and runs. During this time I was testing out both the Scott Supertrac RC trailshoe and the Silva Strive backpack and it led to a lot of great shots in the mountains.
Many of these pictures were taken by Amalie.
I also had some wonderful runs with my brother. It’s so much fun to run in the mountains back home. With just a little bit more effort you can see so much more. This is probably one of the most beautiful viewpoints I know.
In September I did a short photoshoot for Newline and their new Black series. This was the best photo from that session, taken by my running buddy Toke. A very cool shot from an early morning run while the sun was rising.
